As a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Walther Group, at the Research Platform for the Testing the Quantum and Gravity Incerface at the University of Vienna, Dr. Yu will investigate the interplay betrween the two main pillars of physics - quantum mechanics and general relativity.
The project Dr. Yu will be working on aims to combine quantum interference and general relativity. Single photons and entanglement stated will be employed to investigate how gravity alters quantum correlation and superpositions of massless particles.
